January 10 5-7:30pm Rendezvous: Nature Lovers Night – Nature Center activities throughout the Mariucci Lodge.
January 24, 25, 26 Jaycee Ice Fishing Extravaganza – organizational meeting and sell tickets/raffles at designated off-ice sites.
February 7 5-7:30pm Rendezvous: Games Night, Who’s In? New individual and team games to play, make, take home
February 14 8:30am-2pm Region 5 Special Olympics Winter Carnival – assist with facilitating inner tubing, snow shoeing, face painting, ice fishing, Dogsled rides, snow mobile rides, broom ball, on ice bowling, Olympic bean bag toss, participation certificate distribution.
February 22 5:30-7pm Frozen Flop on Gull Lake – Join the Confidence Learning Center “FROZEN FLOPPERS” and jump in the Gull Lake to support Confidence Learning Center and Kids Against Hunger. If you want to show your support but not jump into frozen lake you can log onto Frozen Flop Brainerd, click on teams, click on Confidence Frozen Floppers and make a donation on our behalf.
February 23 10am-2pm OR 2-6pm Gull Lake Frozen Fore – be an Ambassador for Confidence Learning Center by being a Bus Host and welcome participants onto the buses, check for participant wrist bands and share information about Camp.
March 14 5-7:30pm Rendezvous: Bird Feeders – Build a bird feeder to take home. Materials and helpers provided.
**Please pay attention to Diamond in the Rough dates and group categories. Projects are pre-assigned on specific days for age, skills, independence level, and progression. All Diamond in the Rough times are from 9am-3pm
April 24, 25(Wed and Thurs.) 9-3pm Diamond in the Rough – School Groups, Scout Troops, Church Groups, Corporate, Banks
April 26-27 (Fri and Sat) 9-3pm Minnesota State Jaycees Project Weekend (Jaycees ONLY)
May 1, 2 (Wed and Thurs) 9-3pm Diamond in the Rough – Schools, Scout Troops, Church, Service Clubs Corporate, Business’s, Banks
May 4 (Saturday) 9-3pm Diamond in the Rough – Scout Troops, Churches, Business’s, fraternal organizations, etc
May 9am-2pm Monday -Fridays Program Assistants – Many Brainerd Lakes Area schools bring their K-3rd graders to Camp Confidence to enjoy a year-end field trip with an outdoor education twist. Volunteer in program alongside Camps Outdoor Education Specialists as the youth laugh and wiggle their way to a better understanding of the natural world around them.
