Confidence Learning Center has the great priveledge of partnering with two of the largest fishing tournaments in Central Minnesota - WaveWackers and Skeeter. Both tournaments allowProgDay.htm a Camp representative to attend the fishing tournament where anglers then "pledge" a dollar amount "per pound" of fish they catch during the tournament.

New for 2008--- Confidence Learning Center has added Excel Bass to its list of tounaments!

The Pledge Per Pound Special Events have proven very successful!

The Wave Wackers Tournament takes place on Mille Lacs Lake, headquartered at Fishermen's Wharf Resort. Bob and Barbara Herrick encourage their tournament participants to plege to CLC's mission. In 2007 Camp raised over $2,500 in pledges. We also wish to thank Professional Angler Jim Fischer who partners with Perfect 10 Car Wash (Sping Lake Park, MN) who donate the proceeds of one days washes to Camp as part of the Pledge Per Pound. Camp was presented with a check for $1,325.00 from Perfect 10.

The 2007 Skeeter-Yamaha Camp Confidence Tournament was held on the Whitefish Chain (Crosslake) and Gull Lake Chain (Brianerd). Steve Soukup, Regional Sales Manager for Skeeter Boats, encourages all anglers to plegde as much as they can to Camp. In addition Steve and his tournament representatives hold a silent and live auction with all proceeds going to Camp. The 2007 Skeeter-Yamaha Tournament and Pledge Per Pound raised over $4,000 for Camp.
