Thank you to all who made the 2011 Fishing Classic such a huge success!

All proceeds benefit outdoor education and recreation for persons of all ages with developmental disabilities and provides opportunities with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community for language and cultural expansion, support and education.

2011 Fishing Classic Results:

proximately 180 participants in 58 boats took to the water at 8am on Saturday morning with anticipation to catch the LUNKER on the waters of Gull Lake. Multiple dignitaries were included in that group of people including Fishing Greats, Gary Roach, Perry Good, Nick Adams and Al Lindner, and Due North’s “Man about the Woods”, Bill Sherck and many, many more.

Bob Lessard, a Minnesota senator for 26 years, made a surprise visit to the Confidence Learning Center's 28th Annual Fishing Classic as well. Senator Lessard is a skilled outdoorsman and a longtime fishing-camp operator on the Minnesota-Ontario border.

Through-out the Camp Confidence Classic weekend over $60,000 was raised between golf events, silent and live auctions, fishing and other donations. It was a great weekend where it’s all about the Campers!
