Volunteer

Confidence Learning Center could not function without the thousands of hours volunteered by countless volunteers. If you, or a friend or family member would like to volunteer, please contact Mary Harder, Volunteer Coordinator at 218-828-2344 or mary@campconfidence.com.

We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Position: Mechanic
Duties: Cars for Confidence program includes automobiles, snowmobiles, boats, and motorcycles which may need a tune-up, brake pads, minor repairs, or detailing before the can be sold.
Days/Times: Very flexible

Position: Committee Member for Golf or Fishing Tournament
Duties: Join a team to bring in new energy and ideas to the setup process. Tasks include things such as collecting prizes, stuffing bags, making lunches, making signs and working the events.
Days/Times: Call for meeting times

Position: Auction Pick-Up Person
Duties: Travel around Brainerd Lakes Area or state-wide (when able) and pick up items that have been donated to Camp
Days/Times: Flexible, ongoing

Position: Rendezvous Program Assistant
Duties: Assist Staff with facilitation of activities during our evening Rendezvous. Activities may include crafts, fishing, nature bingo, and environmental games. We will in-service you on the activities for the evening.
Days/Times: Various

Position: Welder
Duties: Make a table rack, chair rack, pop can collection trailer, hand railsDays/Times: Flexible. Projects to be completed by spring

Position: Wildlife Sanctuary Caretaker
Duties: Perform minor cage repairs, replace hay in the cages or pens, feed and love the rabbits, deer, pigs, turkey, pheasants, and chickens in the Wildlife Sanctuary.
Days/Times: 2 hours on Sun or Mondays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Position: Spring Sprucers
Duties: As a group or individual, adopt an area of Camp and do a thorough cleaning to remove all remains of winter. Jobs may include raking, sweeping sidewalks, painting picnic tables, splitting wood, detailing vehicles, cleaning cabins, and installing the beach docks. With 100 people, we will complete this feat in 8 hours.
Days/Times:

Other positions open include program assistants, musicians/storytellers, beach hosts, camp store workers, sports show booth workers, Pledge Per Pound fishing events, Golf Classic, Fiesta Auction Assistant, Fishing Classic Assistant, Outdoor Auction Committee Member, Cars for Confidence Coordinator, lawn care assistant and many more.
